The Twins could be headed back before an arbitrator to settle their salary differences with starting pitcher Kyle Lohse.
When salary figures were exchanged between teams and their arbitration eligible players Tuesday, the Twins found themselves more than $500,000 apart with Lohse.
Lohse, who defeated the Twins in arbitration last year to earn $2.4 million, filed at $3.95 million this time. The Twins countered at $3.4 million.
If no agreement is reached, a hearing will be held next month. A year ago the sides were $250,000 apart and took the case before an independent arbitrator.
