The driver whose 16-year-old passenger was killed in a crash in Schroeppel left school early the morning of the crash and had a friend pose as his father in a phone call to the school, according to court papers filed Wednesday.
Statements a friend gave to police became public when 23-year-old Autumn Thomas was arraigned in Fulton City Court on charges she bought the teenagers alcohol a day before the Dec. 8 crash at 1:37 p.m. on county Route 12.
Kevin Mantor, 17, of 387 Main St., Phoenix, was charged with drunken driving after the crash that killed Joseph Bregg III, 16, of 33 Pine Tree Lane, Schroeppel. ...
