Jan. 20--Randal McCloy's
kidney function
continues to improve Randal McCloy remained in serious condition Thursday at WVU Hospitals. His physician reported that his kidney function continued to improve. McCloy is still unable to speak, but has shown other signs of neurological improvement. His medical team has not yet determined the extent, if any, of permanent damage to his brain.
According to his primary doctor, Larry Roberts, McCloy is still suffering from kidney failure and requires dialysis. But his kidneys have shown signs of returning function in the past two days.
