When Sandy Scott Nixon got fed up with fighting the traffic and listening to the street noise in Virginia Beach, she moved to Suffolk.
"It didn't take me long to make the decision," she said. "Once I considered it, I was ready to go."
Nixon kept her condominium in Virginia Beach at Shore Drive and Great Neck Road even though she bought a new townhouse in Belmont Park in Suffolk.
"I get to go home to the beach when I want," she said, "It's the best of both worlds. I have the beach and nature there when I want it."
