He's been a "Piano Man," an "Innocent Man" and a "Stranger." A crooner, a rock 'n' roller and a classical composer. He's seen the lights go out on Broadway, said goodbye to Hollywood and sailed on the "River of Dreams." And this week Billy Joel emerges from semi-retirement for the first of three shows at the TD Banknorth Garden.
