Jan. 20--HESPERIA -- They say if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.Such was the case with a local housekeeper for hire who advertised that she could clean any house in four hours for a flat fee of $50. Although she did clean the homes, victims say she was cleaning them out of their gift cards and other items at the same time. Jeannette Gibson, 34, of Gibson Girl Cleaning Service was arrested Thursday afternoon when authorities did a reverse sting operation on her at the Hesperia home of Misty Macias.Macias filed a police report the previous day, saying she suspected that her maid had taken several gift cards ...
