Portsmouth may soon have a new hometown hero with a really long name.
Ch Shalyn's Not Just A Pretty Face, CD, CGC "Shayla " has been invited to represent the best of her breed in the fifth annual AKC/Eukanuba National Championship dog show being held this weekend in Tampa, Fla .
But you don't need to take a deep breath before calling her. She answers to just Shayla. However, you should know she's already an elite; the "Ch" at the start of her name stands for "champion" and was earned in various competitions.
Being invited to compete is no small thing for a dog ...
