The seduction of wealth, big wealth, is at the heart of "Match Point," the new Woody Allen film that is not at all like a Woody Allen film. It's closer to the milieu of Alfred Hitchock.
No matter what file you try to put it in, it is magnificent in suggesting the tension and subterfuge of a hustling, ambitious poor boy who sees a chance to live the rich life and then flubs it all because of - you guessed it - sex.
