Article: JAPAN SAYS NO TO DEBT RESCHEDULING FOR INDONESIA.

JAKARTA, Jan 23 Asia Pulse - The Japanese government said it will reject to negotiate a possible debt rescheduling with Indonesia outside the Paris Club forum of official creditors.

If the Indonesian government wants debt rescheduling it has to go to the Paris Club and follow the programs of the International Monetary Fund, Ambassdor Yutaka Iimura said here last weekend.

The government has terminated cooperation with the IMF, which was involved in seeking to lift the country from the mire of the 1997/1998 monetary crisis.
