Jan. 23--Soybean processing might be coming to a town near you, and sooner than you think. "There will be a drive for investors before too long," said Christopher Fischbach of the Warner area. He is one of two area men recently elected to the South Dakota Soybean Association board of directors. The other is Darrell Davis of rural Ipswich.
The proposal for a soybean processing plant in a yet-to-be disclosed northeast South Dakota location is in its advanced stages, Fischbach said. "It will be a good investment opportunity for the public, not just producers," Fischbach said. South Dakota currently has only one soybean processing ...
