Jan. 23--He says his departure is bittersweet -- he thinks of Sedalia as his home, but is excited about becoming part of a growing community. After more than 10 years as Sedalia's chief of police, Ted Litschauer taking over Fort Walton, Fla. Police Department. His last day on the job here is Thursday.
