PITTSBURGH, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) joint Nonprescription Drugs and Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 11 to 3 to recommend approval of orlistat 60 mg capsules for over-the-counter (OTC) use in the United States.
