Every morning, as Nick Reetz pulls into the parking lot of a strip mall in Roseville, he looks down the street at his hulking competitor - a Best Buy store that's about twice as large as the Circuit City he manages.
Reetz isn't fazed.
"We may not have as many people as they do, but we can still beat them on price and service," he said.
With same-store sales up a robust 13.1 percent in Circuit City's third quarter - nearly four times the percentage gain of Best Buy - Reetz's confidence seems justifiable.
