NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- United PanAm Financial Corp. (Nasdaq:UPFC) today announced results for its fourth quarter and year ended Dec. 31, 2005.
For the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2005, the Company reported net income of $6.4 million, compared to net income of $5.1 million for the same period a year ago, representing a 26% increase over 2004. The Company reported net income of $0.34 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2005 compared to $0.28 per diluted share for the same period a year ago, representing a 21% increase over 2004.
