Shanghai Telecom expands network with Cisco CRS-1
Shanghai. January 26. INTERFAX-CHINA - Cisco Systems announced Shanghai Telecom will expand its Cisco Internet Protocol Next-Generation Network (IP NGN) to meet future growth demands using the CRS-1 multichassis system, which simplifies the network while increasing bandwidth.
Shanghai Telecom, a subsidiary of China Telecom, will be the first telecom carrier in China to deploy the Cisco system.
