A photo with Dick Case's Thursday column on the Lynch family, who lived more than 125 years along the Erie Canal, showed a section of the Erie Canal unrelated to the family. The photo showed a section of the Erie Canal in Clinton Square. The Lynch family lived in what is now the 900 block of Erie Boulevard West. The caption gave the incorrect direction of the view; the photo is looking north.
