BIRMINGHAM netball champs are springing into action to back a sponsored walk to help save lives.
South Birmingham Netball Team members are taking part in the Cannon Hill Amble, a 5km walk at Cannon Hill Park, raising vital funds to support the work of Cancer Research UK.
The team is on a high because one member, 15-year-old Shenley Court pupil Kirsty Delves, of Weoley Castle, has been selected for the England team to play in the European Championships this March.
