MADISON -- A clogged furnace filter was responsible for $1,000 worth of damage in a home on Madison's South Side Monday night.
The Madison Fire Department responded to the home at 2610 Fell Road at about 10 p.m. and found it full of smoke. The clog had caused a small fire in the home's ductwork, and smoke traveled through the ducts all over the home, the Fire Department said.
