Jakarta, Jan 27 (ANTARA) - The owner of liquidated Bank Bira, Atang Latief alias Lau Tjin Ho has returned to Indonesia to face legal process on their alleged embezzlement of Bank Indonesia liquiditiy support (BLBI) amounting Rp325 billion. "Thank God that he has returned home to account for the crime he had committed," Indonesian Police Chief, Gen. Sutanto said here, Friday. Atang Latif arrived in Jakarta from his hideout in Singapore at 11.00 am and was immediately rushed to a hospital for his illness.
