A high school linebacker who had stated his intention to play football at Oregon now appears extremely unlikely to sign with the Ducks after his arrest this month on murder charges.
Jurray Casey, who attended Poly High School in Long Beach, Calif., entered a not guilty plea last week to charges relating to the Jan. 8 shooting of a fellow minor in Culver City, Calif., according to the Long Beach Press-Telegram. Casey turned 18 on Saturday, nearly two weeks after the alleged murder of 17-year-old Rashad Ali.
