CORRECTION: A volunteer for 55 years.
Akira Toki has volunteered with the Veterans Hospital for nearly 55 years. He began his volunteer service in 1951 when he was a tour guide at the hospital's grand opening and he continues to volunteer three days a week. A story on Page 1 of Friday's Local section about the celebration of Toki's 90th birthday said Toki has volunteered at the hospital for more than 15 years.
