Jan. 28--Acompany whose manager specializes in cemetery construction has purchased the old St. Catherine Indian School campus on Santa Fe's north side.
The 18-acre property adjoins both Santa Fe National Cemetery and Rosario Cemetery, owned by the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
However, people involved with the sale by the Philadelphia-based Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament so far have declined to publicly discuss plans for the site, unused since the school closed in 1998.
Documents on file with the Santa Fe County clerk show the religious order sold the real estate Oct. 28 to New Mexico Consolidated Construction ...
