Living TV is considering integrating mobile Java applications into its mainstream programming if an initial launch with Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns Live proves successful.
The application constantly updates from a server, creating an always-on link between the viewer and the show for the first time. It will form an important part of the weekend-long show.
A Living TV spokeswoman said, "If it's successful then it's something that we would look to use in other programmes in the future."
