Medan, N. Sumatra, Jan 30 (ANTARA) - Some 8,000 tons of rice from Vietnam arrived at Belawan Port, North Sumatra on Monday, bringing the total rice stock in North Sumatra to 50,150 tons. Spokesman of the North Sumatra Logistics Agency (Bulog) Aris Fadillah said that the imported rice will be used for some programs such as for poor people with subsidized price, and rice stock for natural disaster humanitarian assistance.
