Jan. 31--WARWICK -- The state has demolished two more buildings to make way for a train station that would be linked to the terminal at T.F. Green Airport by a quarter-mile elevated "skywalk."
The two buildings were on the north side of Fresno Road, between Imera Avenue and the former site of the Baylis chemical plant. Their demolitions were the last two needed to prepare the site for the train station, according to Patti Goldstein, a Rhode Island Airport Corporation vice president and the state's spokeswoman for the project.
