THE Scottish-Power Energy People Trust was launched in November 2005 to help vulnerable people across Britain who need to spend more than 10% of their income on fuel bills and suffer the effects of fuel poverty.
ScottishPower has donated over pounds 1m to the independent Trust to date, and grants totalling almost a quarter of a million pounds have already been awarded to not-for-profit organisations and groups that primarily assist young families and other vulnerable people who are struggling to pay their energy bills.
