The latest seasonal brew from the Wild Goose brewery of Cambridge, MD is Wild Goose Spring Wheat Ale. According to the brewery, the brew will be "another world-class, English-style ale from the Chesapeake's own award-winning microbrewery."
The brewery reports that Wild Goose Spring Wheat Ale will include proportions of malted wheat, together with two-row crystal and pale barley, Saaz and Hallertau hops and Ringwood Ale yeast. The intent, according to Wild Goose president Jim Lutz, is to produce a beer that balances a sweet, fruity body with a long spicy hop finish.
