Just because Super Bowl XL is supposed to be worth $300 million to metro Detroit doesn't mean money is going to fall from the sky for every business in Southeast Michigan.
Just ask Wayne Kostroski, a Minneapolis businessman who owns two restaurants and a bakery in the city that hosted the game in 1992. Kostroski also is founder and executive director of the Taste of the NFL charity event held annually in conjunction with the game.
Sit back and wait for customers to roll in, he said, and expect an average return at best.
