Fundamentally speaking, Elk River's 73-48 victory over visiting Osseo on Tuesday night was a testament to taking care of two things: business and the ball.
The Elks have quietly and efficiently become a not-so-well-kept-secret in boys' basketball this season, and their latest team-oriented triumph boosted their record to 15-1 overall and 9-0 in the Northwest Suburban Conference.
