NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The future of New Orleans is on the line when Louisiana legislators meet in a special session Monday, Feb. 6.
The crucial issue: With billions from the Federal government designated to rebuild the failed levee system, six months post Katrina, the question remains: Will there be major reform with a single levee board run by qualified professionals or will politics as usual protect some or all of the system that allowed the people of New Orleans to be devastated by man-made flooding?
