CHICAGO _ Coco Crisp always seems to do some damage against the White Sox. But give Cleveland general manager Mark Shapiro credit for making a great trade _ not just a good trade _ in sending Crisp to the Boston Red Sox.
The deal that sent Andy Marte, Kelly Shoppach and Guillermo Mota to the Indians from Boston for Crisp, David Riske and Josh Bard _ coupled with a move to add outfielder Jason Michaels from Philadelphia _ could have ramifications in the American League Central in 2006 and beyond.
