Biermeier, William R.
ELROY - William R. "Bill" Biermeier, age 87, of Elroy, died on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at the Weber Haus in Wonewoc. He was born on March 4, 1918, in Crandon, to Andrew and Hazel (Miller) Biermeier. Bill graduated from Elroy High School in 1935. He was united in marriage to Wanda Scoles on May 27, 1946 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elroy, she preceded him in death on March 5, 2005. He worked as a dairy farmer, Neuman's Feed Mill and Walker Stainless, before starting Biermeier's Insurance Agency which he ran from 1949 to 1978. Bill summered in Winter, Wis., for 25 years, enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing and telling stories. ...
