Feb. 6--CANTON -- A Potsdam man has filed a lawsuit seeking the court-ordered sale of a Canton liquor store that is operated by his former wife.
Filed in State Supreme Court here, the lawsuit seeks an order requiring the sale of Ye Olde Liquors in the University Shopping Center to settle an ownership dispute that arose following the divorce of Andrew C. and Audrey A. Mousaw.
Before their Nov. 17, 2003, divorce, the Mousaws were half owners of the liquor store. The other half was owned by Mr. Mousaw's mother, Carole Bowman, 545 Judson Street Road, who died Dec. 27, 2004.
