THE amount of space under construction by the 25 largest commercial developers in L.A. County fell to 7.3 million square feet, a decline of 4 million square feet compared to the previous year.
Majestic Realty Co., No. 1 on the list, is the only company on the list with at least 1 million square feet under construction in the county. The City of Industry-based firm has two projects under construction totaling nearly 1.4 million square feet.
LaCaze Development Co., No. 20, moved up three spots after completing three projects in 2005 totaling 860,000 square feet. It has completed a total of 3.8 million square feet in the county since its founding in 1980. ...
