Electricity market in northeastern China suspended

Shanghai. February 7. INTERFAX-CHINA - The northeastern electricity market, which was the first pilot electricity market to be launched in China, has suspended transactions, the Shanghai Securities Journal reported.

An official surnamed Zhao with the China Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) told Interfax that the suspension of the market was due to the imminent adjustments to the local electricity price.
