Oakland, Calif. -- The Timberwolves' 109-77 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night was not unlike any episode of "Law & Order": All the bloodshed was over early, before the theme music, even.
Then everyone spent the rest of the time trying to figure out what the heck had happened. Trailing by as many as 36 points in the fourth quarter - yet out of this one almost from the start - the Wolves suffered their worst defeat of the 2005-06 season and looked, nine days after the big trade with Boston that was supposed to provide some fixes, more broken than ever.
