STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- The Port of Goteborg AB, the largest port in Scandinavia, has signed an agreement with Carmen Systems AB for an optimization application to schedule the terminal staff and equipment. With this solution, the Port of Goteborg will be able to handle increased volumes of freight without having to increase the number of staff.
The three-year agreement between the Swedish resource optimization company Carmen Systems AB and the Ro/ro Terminal at the Port of Goteborg, states that Carmen will create a solution application to schedule the 220 terminal staff and equipment at the port in Goteborg, Sweden.
