BUTUAN CITY a" Continuous heavy rains in the past four days have caused flash floods in various areas of the Caraga region, particularly Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, and Agusan del Sur, affecting 37,343 families or 208,021 persons and causing damage to agricultural crops, properties, and infrastructure projects.
According to reports, five persons have died and 70 houses were destroyed in the whole region.
The latest fatality due to drowning was identified as Jojo Palma of Lamusig area in barangay Tungao, this city while Rogelio Generales, 67, suffered a heart attack during rescue operation at 4:30 a.m. yesterday at ...
