AS James Bond, screen legend Sir Sean Connery took on and beat the likes of Goldfinger and Dr No - now he has Jack McConnell in his sights.
In a fierce outburst that will surely have left the First Minister shaken, i f not stirred, Sir Sean said his efforts to promote Scotland overseas were a 'joke'.
The 75-year-old actor added that he has abandoned his role as an unofficial Scottish 'ambassador' and will not be accompanying Mr McConnell to this year's Tartan Day celebrations in New York.
