Feb. 10--A Knoxville partnership has purchased the former Raillery Apartments for $6.9 million and will invest another $1.2 million in modernizing the 200-unit complex on Lonas Drive.
New Communities LLC, which has renamed the West Knoxville apartment complex Greenbrier Ridge, intends to go head-to-head with new and existing apartment and condominium developments targeting college students, young professionals and young adults, said Jeff Fray, one of New Communities' three partners.
