CHESAPEAKE -- CHESAPEAKE - Phillip Stanley Norman, 72, passed away Feb. 8, 2006, in his home.
A native of Tyrell County, N.C., he was the son of the late Joe-Ab and Minnie Norman. He retired from Tidewater Equipment Company Inc. as a shipfitter after 45 years of service. He attended the Great Bridge Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Norman; two sons, Phillip Stephen Norman and his wife Francene of Shunk, Pa. and Christopher Scott Norman and his wife Renee of Chesapeake; four sisters, Elizabeth Norman and Evelyn Hufton, both of Roper, N.C., Aileen Comstock of Plymouth, N.C. and Lena Comstock of Chesapeake; and a brother, Vernon Norman ...
