Feb. 12--Six inmates, including two charged with murder, overpowered guards and escaped late Saturday from the Cook County Jail, and were being sought in a massive manhunt early Sunday, according to a spokesman for Cook County Sheriff Michael Sheahan. The escape was the second in as many days from the jail. They are believed to have a contraband knife made inside the jail and are considered very dangerous, said Bill Cunningham, a spokesman for the sheriff.
