Aldermen today will discuss possibly looking for other offers for a parcel where a Wisconsin developer has proposed building two hotels along Mannheim Road.
Members of the city's community development committee have called for a special city council committee of the whole meeting at 4 p.m. at the city hall, 1420 Miner St.
Last week, Des Plaines community development committee members decided to forward that proposal to the city council later this month.
Madison, Wis.-based Raymond Management Co. would get an exclusive option to buy property from the city for the exact price that Des Plaines pays.
