NEW YORK -- Polo Ralph Lauren (NYSE: RL) announced today the resignation of Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, III from the Polo Ralph Lauren Board of Directors. Mr. Ullman has decided not to stand for re-election to the Company's board of directors when his current term expires and has tendered his resignation effective February 14, 2006, due to his other professional commitments as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of J.C. Penney Company, Inc.
