SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap)-South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co. said Tuesday that it has developed the world's fastest graphics memory chip. The world's largest memory chipmaker said the new double data rate graphics memory chip, or "GDDR4," can process data at 12.8 gigabytes per second, about 30 percent faster than existing products.
