FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Adjutant General Major General Jessica Wright met with members of the House and Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness committees today to brief them on the Army's proposed cuts to National Guard combat brigades and their potential impact on Pennsylvania.
"The Army has announced that it may make substantial cuts in Army National Guard forces nationwide," said Gen. Wright. "The threat appears to be so serious that I wanted to make sure you were aware of the potential impact to Pennsylvania."
