GE's Czech unit GE Money Multiservis becomes top credit card issuer on Czech market in 2005

PRAGUE. FEBRUARY 15. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - GE Money Multiservis, a Czech subsidiary of General Electric (GE), became the biggest issuer of credit cards on the Czech market in 2005, issuing 108,918 new cards, an increase of 606% year on year (y/y), the firm's general director, Charlie Coode, told journalists Wednesday.
"GE Money's MoneyCard credit card was the most issued credit card on the Czech market in 2005 and became the second most widely used credit card in the Czech Republic," said Coode.
