FORT WAYNE, Ind.--Oct. 4--A new, low-power station likely will appear on Fort Wayne-area radio dials soon.
Its informational programming, originating from Fort Wayne International Airport, will target a travel-oriented audience.
The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority has applied to the Federal Communications Commission for this low-power license to air 15-minute messages about facility changes.
So much of the airport will be altered by between now and the end of 1995 that a taped message alerting visitors to the changes may help minimize confusion, said Roxanne Butler, community affairs manager for the airport.
