CHICAGO -- Pledging donations of LCD and CRT displays, NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading stand-alone provider of flat panel desktop and large-screen displays, today announced its partnership with Chicago-based Computers for Schools. The displays will equip Chicago-area classrooms and computer labs as well as classrooms across the country, and improve the educational opportunities for thousands of city and suburban students. NEC Display Solutions plans on donating as many as 1,000 units to Chicago-area schools totaling about $250,000 over the next three years.
