A distinguished 1993 class of gentlemen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, but none was more distinguished than Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton.
Payton, whose career is a hallmark to desire, determination, hard work, intelligence and dignity, initially appeared unmoved about his induction into the hall.
But that all changed when his 12-year-old son, Jarrett, introduced his father with a wellspoken and moving speech. With elation and Pride, Jarrett stated:
